I have always loved painting the charming cottages and beautiful lawns that I have found during my travels to such places as Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cape Cod, Quay West and Mackinaw Island. Recently, I have completed a series of paintings based on cottages in the historic area of Cabbagetown in Toronto.
I started painting as a hobby during my career as an educator and I devote my time to painting now that I am retired. While I have painted large and small canvasses, I believe my miniatures serve as ideal remembrances of the wonderful, bright days spent in these delightful places.
My acrylic paintings have been exhibited at ‘Crow and Things’ in Bala, Muskoka at Break Point Gallery, Union Square Gallery, Red Canoe Gallery, Arts on Queen, The Three Fishes Gallery,The Gingerbread Square.
